Program Structure

Throughout the program, MSIL students will complete a combination of courses in innovation, leadership, and technology through a management track delivered by the Center for Leadership Education and a technical track delivered by the Engineering for Professionals program. 

MSIL students have the opportunity to gain real-world work experience through internships and an optional immersion experience.

To Enroll in your technical courses, please complete an IDR form and Submit to SEAM.

Non-domestic students must comply with in-person instruction guidance as part of their visa requirements, whether they are enrolled as full-time or part-time students. Questions about the current guidance for in-person credit requirements should be directed to the Office of International Services (https://ois.jhu.edu/).

Program Curriculum

A typical course progression for a current MSIL student is listed below.* Depending upon technical track prerequisites and course availability, students may be able to compress degree requirements into three semesters.
