In addition to the Management Track, all MSIL students must also complete a curriculum of advanced engineering and science courses (at least eighteen (18) credits) in a technical track (listed below) in consultation with their technical advisor.
Please note, the courses listed in each track serve as a general guide, but courses are subject to change. Students must work with their technical advisor on appropriate courses for degree completion.
Prerequisites
Prior education must include prerequisites as determined on a track-by-track basis, generally to include Calculus I and II, Statistics and Probability, and Python or Java. Applicants whose prior education does not include the prerequisites listed above may still be admitted to the program. Missing prerequisites may be completed with the Johns Hopkins Engineering for Professionals program or at another regionally accredited institution. These prerequisite courses do not count toward the degree requirements.
*Continuation in the technical track is contingent upon grades received in prerequisite courses.
Any deviations from the listed courses for a track MUST be approved by the track advisor and submitted to the program administrator by email.
