The Master’s degree program in Global Innovation and Leadership is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in leadership and innovation, as well as the technical expertise needed to succeed in their chosen field. Through experiential learning, students will have the opportunity to build valuable skills and connections that will help them succeed in their careers.
Real-World Cases
During the master’s program in Global Innovation and Leadership, students will work on real-world cases relevant to their technical tracks. These cases will allow students to gain experience with real-world problem solving and innovation and prepare them to succeed as leaders in technology.
Immersion
Students can also choose to participate in the Immersion Program, which provides them with the opportunity to work on a consulting project with a real-world client abroad or in Baltimore (students are responsible for travel costs).
Internships
In addition to case-based learning, students have the opportunity to complete an internship to gain hands-on experience working with companies and organizations, including through Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures. These internships will be supported by participation in a 1.5-credit internship preparation course.
Networking
Throughout the program, students will also have access to a network of industry professionals who can provide guidance and support as they develop their careers. These connections will be valuable resources as students transition from academia to the workforce and seek opportunities for employment.
